Thinking of joining us? That’s great to hear. Here are some tips on how and when to apply to our HNC and HND courses.

Step 1

You’ve made a decision to advance your learning or plan to return to education to progress your career or make a change. If you’re still not sure, then we can support and advise you. Explore our courses or contact us directly at sciot@activatelearning.ac.uk

Step 2

We suggest you attend one of our open or virtual open events to speak to tutors and students to get a feel for the college environment and discuss your options with us. Have a look at our events and register for our next open event.

Step 3

If you are applying for a full-time (FT) programme you will be applying via a UCAS route. To get started, follow the application process on the relevant course page, fill in our course enquiry form and we will give you a call to discuss the course and what you want to gain from it.

We will guide you through the application process on UCAS too to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible.

For some courses, you may be required to undertake an assessment and/or an interview before a formal offer can be made.

Your application will be reviewed and a written confirmation of your interview date and/or assessments will be sent to you and an offer made if you meet the requirements on the programme you have chosen.

Step 5

If a conditional offer is made, subject to the achievement of certain grades, we strictly adhere to UCAS regulations and final confirmation of a place will be on or shortly after results day in August.

Step 6

If a conditional offer is made, subject to the achievement of certain grades, we strictly adhere to UCAS regulations and final confirmation of a place will be on or shortly after results day in August.
