Our HND course, ideal for HNC holders aiming to advance their engineering careers, covers advanced engineering topics and offers practical, academic, and management skills development, preparing students for employment, BEng or BSc degree courses, or relevant professional qualifications.


What will I do?

On this course, you will study a variety of engineering topics from further mathematics to lean manufacturing. You can expect to participate in both group lessons and independent research. You will have the opportunity to conduct an academic research project to expand your knowledge and understanding. Your mathematical skills will be applied to both electrical and mechanical principles to ensure your knowledge is up-to-date with current industry expectations.

The HND course is for those who already hold a HNC qualification and want to further their career as an engineer. This course offers a strong sector-related emphasis on practical, academic & management skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding. Entry Requirements

You should hold a full HNC (RQF) qualification and GCSEs at grade C/4 in English and Maths.
